Crofton Park Drug Dealer Jailed

The team recently arrested Denis Kurti, a male who was residing in Crofton Park, after he was found in possession of almost 500grams of Cocaine and over £8000 in cash. Today, Denis Kurti was sentenced to 36 months in prison for Possession of Class A with intent to supply and also £8145 seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

In September, officers from your Neighbourhood Team were on proactive patrol around Crofton Park to which they stopped a vehicle, to which Kurti was the occupant, near Honor Oak Park. Kurti was subject to a search under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act to which he was found in possession of a number of wraps of Cocaine. A search of Kurti's home address unveiled the large amount of cash and even more cocaine hidden in a cupboard under the stairs.

This is a great result for a brilliant bit of proactive work conducted by the local neighbourhood team targeting your concerns raised around drug use and supply on the ward. The team continue to work hard to target offenders and reduce offences across the ward.
